This lovely kit introduces children to the art of weaving. Suitable for complete beginners, children can weave colours and create patterns to enhance the illustrated board.
Children punch holes into the illustrated board and then install their warp yarn. Once the ‘loom’ is ready they can start to weave the illustration to complete it. The board included features a spotted cat considering its tail, that needs a colourful jumper.
Contents: picture to complete, 3 hanks of coloured wool, cotton, 2 needles, hole punch, thimble, needle threader and instructions. Designed by Elodie Nouhen.
An engaging pursuit that is excellent for hand-eye co-ordination, fine motor development and building confidence with creative art techniques.
Djeco recommend for children aged 8-14 years.
