Crystal Science - Kidzlabs
Beautiful science! Conduct chemical experiments and discover how crystals are formed. Grow your own set of aquamarine crystal Clusters, glow-in-the-dark moon crystal clusters and a crystal snow tree.
Includes display bases and covers for showing off the finished crystal creations.
A great project for children 14 years + (younger children will need adult supervision).
Please note that some necessary/household items are not included in this set (e.g. apron, rubber gloves and protective goggles).
Includes large bag of white crystal compound (base compound called Monoammonium Phosphate), a small bag of blue seeding mixture, a square transparent base with a cover, a hexagonal base, a shallow hexagonal container, glow-in-the-dark crystal base, a stirring bowl, a stirring spoon, a set of crystal snow tree paper and detailed instructions.
Caution. Contains some chemicals that are classified as safety hazards. Read instructions before use.
Finished crystal dimensions - The Moon Crystal Cluster will grow to approx 45mm (diameter) x 35mm in height. The Aquamarine Crystal will grow to approx 30mm (diameter) x 25mm in height. The Crystal Snow Tree will grow to approx 70mm diameter and 80mm height.
