Timeline - Inventions Card Game
"Was the can opener invented before or after the light bulb?" Well, after glasses for sure . . . right? And was it created at some point between the telegraph and telephone?" In this game, place your cards in the correct time sequence and you will be victorious.
Timeline will have you questioning all the things you thought you knew, and attempting to put all your hunches in order. Each of the 110 cards depicts an invention, but only one side has the year it was invented. Players take turns placing a card from their hand in a row on the table. If they successfully place it chronologically (the date is checked once placed), it remains. Otherwise that card is removed from play and the player takes another card from the deck. The first player to get rid of all her cards by placing them correctly wins.
Timeline Inventions can be combined with other themes/titles in the Timeline series to increase possibilities and make play even more exciting. Timeline British History and Timeline Music & Cinema also available on this site. Can entertain 2 - 8 players. 15 minute playing time. Recommended for players aged 8 years +
