Just like the original, to win you must find the Harry Potter character, creature, object or symbol in common between two cards, before your opponent does (there is only ever one match). There are 55 playing cards in the deck, so there is plenty of fun to be had.
As with the original, Dobble Harry Potter relies on a sharp eye and quick reflex. This game depends on how swiftly you can react and visual perception (rather than knowledge or strategy) allowing children to play on an equal footing with adults. Potterheads who will instantly recognise the house crests, the magical beasts and their favourite witches and wizards etc., will have the upper hand.
This really is a perfect family muggle game, a fun hybrid of snap and hide & seek.
