Brain Box - Marvin's Magic
A fun and easy way to learn about magic and magicians. This BrainBox is a collaboration between Marvin Berglas (of Marvin's Magic fame) and the Green Board Game Company.
The result is the perfect mix of practical magic and testing your knowledge on famous magicians and illusions. Houdini, Tommy Cooper, David Blaine and many more feature on the 40 cards, as well as the Indian Rope Trick, Human Cannonball and Bullet Catch.
The pack also contains Optical Illusions cards and instructions for simple magic tricks that you can learn to perform. Quick and easy to understand and learn, this BrainBox is great for young magic enthusiasts.
How to play? Players take it in turns to study a randomly drawn card for 10 seconds and then return it to another player. They roll a die to decide what question they are asked. All of the answers can be found on the picture side of the card. If the player can answer correctly, the card is kept as a point, if not, they return it to the box. Sounds simple, but once the card is no longer in front of you, how much you can remember becomes everything. The winner is the player with the most cards after 10 minutes of play (can be reduced to 5 minutes play as needed).
Enjoy as a single player, as well as competitively. Fun for all the family.
Contains 40 BrainBox cards, 17 Tricks and Illusion cards, 1 rules card, 1 sand timer, 1 die.
Recommended for players aged 8 years +
Why they'll love itThe concise length of play ensures players stay focused and engaged. Bite sized information keeps learning fun. Younger players can be allowed longer to study their card (e.g. two runs of the timer) to even the playing field where needed.
Fun, fast and entertaining. Children and adults can play together. Ideal for siblings of different ages.
Why you'll love itCompact size make it a good choice as a travel pursuit. The cleverly designed neat cube takes up minimal space on the shelf.
We love the speedy nature of this game. Perfect for when you don't want to give up hours to a boardgame (Monopoly, we are looking at you) but still want to be entertained.
